Siddharth Suchak Career Portfolio

From MBA fresher
to the founding member

In December 2022, I joined Bimakart as a fresher — its Financial Strategy Manager on a team of fifteen. What began with reconciling insurance commissions has become a seat at the table shaping the direction of a company now built up to a ₹300 crore insurance distribution platform. This is that journey, in the order it happened.

DEC 2022 — FINANCIAL STRATEGY MANAGER

Joining as a fresher, on a team of fifteen

I joined Bimakart in December 2022, straight out of college, as its Financial Strategy Manager — at a time when the entire company was fifteen people: seven in sales, eight running backend operations. My first responsibility was commission reconciliation, tracing every rupee the company was owed by its insurance partners. Within that first year, I identified and recovered a ₹15 lakh discrepancy from one insurance company — an early lesson in how much disciplined financial hygiene could protect.

2022 — 2024 — LEARNING THE ENGINE ROOM

Understanding every department, then rebuilding how they connect

Beyond the numbers, I used this period to understand how every department worked — sales, backend, compliance — and which tools the company already relied on. I taught myself Salesforce in real depth: not just using it, but designing flows, building processes, drafting SOPs, and managing integrations end to end. I drove the integrations with third-party lending partners and engineered them to be scalable and tightly interlocked, so that no revenue could leak through the gaps between systems.

APRIL 2024 — NEW BUSINESS LINE

Launching the POSP business

In April 2024, Bimakart launched its POSP (Point-of-Sale Person) business — a new distribution channel built on the very processes and systems we had spent the prior years putting in place. It marked the company's shift from a single-model operation to the dual-channel platform it runs today.

AUG — DEC 2024 — SALES, FUNDRAISING & COMPLIANCE

Running three functions at once, for four months

For four months, I took direct ownership of sales under the guidance of our founder for the digital sales business while simultaneously supporting fundraising execution and statutory compliance — three demanding functions carried in parallel. Under that ownership, monthly sales grew 10% month-on-month, consistently, across the full period. Once the process was proven and stable, I handed it over to a dedicated sales specialist so the function could scale independently.

JAN — AUG 2025 — FOUNDER'S OFFICE EXECUTIVE

Building the next stage, alongside the founder

I moved into the Founder's Office, working directly alongside the founder to deploy the capital raised in August 2024 and take the company to its next level. Together, we set the operating benchmarks, built out the team, and deployed the systems the company runs on today. In July 2025, within this same chapter, I led the fundraising round for the company's next stage of expansion — owning the round itself along with every associated compliance requirement and statutory filing.

AUG 2025 — PRESENT — HEAD OF STRATEGY & CORPORATE AFFAIRS

A seat at every Strategic decision

I was promoted from the Founder's Office to Head – Strategy & Corporate Affairs, a role that places me at the center of the company's key strategic decisions. I lead corporate strategy, compliance, financial planning and forecasting, investor relations, fundraising support, MIS reporting, and board/investor communications. I also manage a dedicated team that drives execution across these functions, ensuring leadership has the insights, governance, and financial clarity needed to make informed decisions and support the company's growth.
